An exciting afternoon in Thousand Oaks, California ended in a car crash after four teenagers were caught trying to escape arrest for robbery. Two 16 year olds and two 15 year olds were arrested today after crashing in a parking lot near Hillcrest Drive and Marin Drive in Thousand Oaks. The four teens allegedly confronted two brothers on Thousand Oaks Boulevard and demanded the victims turn over their money and property. The San Francisco bicyclist traveling at least 30 mile per hour who failed to stop at an intersection and struck a pedestrian will be tried for felony manslaughter. The pedestrian, Sutchi Hui, a 71 year old man was walking across the street with his wife. He died in the hospital four days later as a result of his injuries. Ventura County Law Enforcement arrested three men from kern County after they were discovered tending to a 55,000 plant marijuana operation in the Los Padres national Forest located in norther Ventura County near the small town of Ojai. A Riverside County resident was just sentenced to 17 years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of gross vehicular manslaughter resulting from a DUI traffic collision early last year. Tenina Calhoun of Moreno Valley had been out with friends celebrating her birthday when she got behind the wheel of her SUV and, while speeding down the road, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. 5 occupants were ejected from the vehicle and three of them died. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has been charged with domestic violence and vandalism in Los Angeles City after he was allegedly involved in an argument with an ex-girlfriend who is described as the mother of a child of Jackson’s. In a statement by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, they describe Jackson as having broken chandeliers in the woman’s home, kicked in a door and kicked the woman, causing injury to her and her property. The threat of jail and deportation was not enough to deter Ricardo Valencia from allegedly tending to over 6,000 marijuana plants shortly after his conviction and deportation for similar conduct. Valencia, 36 was being investigated by Ventura County law enforcement based on his prior conduct. A search warrant execution yielded $5,000 in cash, two firearms and various other indicia of marijuana cultivation.
