Body Found Buried in Compton Yard, Boyfriend Arrested for Murder

A dead body was unearthed today in the backyard of a Compton, California home. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officers said the body was that of the alleged girlfriend of 22 year old Devon Anderson who supposedly walked into the local Sheriff’s Station and told deputies he killed his girlfriend during a domestic dispute the buried her in his yard. The Los Angeles County Coroner is investigating the cause of death and meanwhile young Mr. Anderson is being held in lieu of $1 million bail on charges of murder. Room For Rent After Fatal Mission Viejo DUI Crash

A man was killed in his rented room early this morning as a suspected drunk driver appears to have lost control of his car and plowed into the home of two men on an otherwise quiet residential street in Mission Viejo, California. The other home resident was not injured and authorities indicated the victim was dead upon the arrival of paramedics after he was crushed by the car entering his bedroom. CHP Busts Long Beach Area Motorcycle Theft Ring

A two year undercover investigation by the California Highway Patrol led to the arrest of 51 people allegedly involved in a ring of motorcycles thefts, trafficking in stolen parts and other crimes. Operation Wheel Spin began as a social media project where it is common for motorcycle parts to be offered for sale. CHP officers on the case say that the plastic parts of motorcycles do not carry serial numbers as other metal parts do. Botched Hi-Jack Attempt Yields 12 Tons of Pot

Tustin police officers recently stumbled upon 24,000 pounds (that’s right) of marijuana after the driver of a big rig truck called 911 telling the operator that he thought he was being hi-jacked. The truck driver said that two men in a van tried to pull him over and flashed some sort of badge. The driver said the men looked a little shady so instead of pulling over he pulled into the parking lot of a business and called the police. A 7 year veteran Washington DC police officer was arrested yesterday after a report was filed that he took naked pictures of a 15 year old girl. Earlier in the month he girl had been reported as a runaway by her mother. The police officer who took the report was the same man who was arrested, Marc Washington. Five Arrested for Child Pornography in Los Angeles

Five Los Angeles County men were arrested yesterday after an intensive investigation by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies described four of the men as distributing hard core child pornography and the 5th man was in possession of illegal child pornography. The men vary in age from 19 to 72 and live throughout Los Angeles County. Two LAX Workers Arrested for Explosive Devices

Two Los Angeles International Airport workers were arrested within two days of each other after several dry ice bombs reportedly exploded at locations inside the airport property. First arrested was Dicarlo Bennett a ground service worker for a company called Servisair. Two days later, Bennett’s own supervisor, Miguel Angel Iniguez, was arrested. Bennett was arrested for actually blowing up the so called “dry-ice” bombs, while Iniguez was arrested after a suspected dry ice bomb was recovered without exploding. Veteran LAPD Officer Arrested for Assault

Alesia Thomas, a mentally infirm mother of two dropped her children off at a local LAPD station last year. Several officers were sent to Thomas’ home to investigate why. One of those officers is believed to be 48 year old veteran police officer Mary O’Callaghan. According to local news reports, there is LAPD video of this 19 year veteran cop kicking the handcuffed Thomas multiple times in the groin and stomach areas.
