Do you have a commercial driver’s license? Are you facing a DUI in California? Don’t ignore it. Don’t waste time. Call someone who can help.
I you have a commercial license in California, a DUI can be devastating. If you’ve been arrested for DUI and you are a commercial driver, Don’t call ten random lawyers from the internet. Ignore any of the propaganda that is mailed to your door. If some lawyer you don’t know (or his flunky) tries to call or text you, he is nothing more than a predator trying to take your hard-earned money from you.
Call a lawyer who handles DUI’s every day in California. Call a lawyer who understands that it is critical to do every he can in order to win your DMV hearing. Call a lawyer who understands that this is your livelihood on the line.
It’s true that you only have ten days after a DUI arrest to request a DMV hearing. It’s also true that making this request only takes me about ten minutes and I do it all the time.
Losing a DMV hearing will cost you your driver’s license. Getting convicted of DUI will cost you your commercial license for one year. A second major violation IN YOUR LIFETIME will cost you your commercial license FOR LIFE!
DUI is the most commonly prosecuted crime in California. I handle DUI’s for my clients (commercial and non-commercial drivers) all the time in court and with the DMV. Before you give money to a total stranger, make sure that attorney has at least ten years of experience and has handled thousands of DUI cases. Make sure your lawyer is familiar with the county where you are going to court. Don’t talk to the lawyer’s assistant, paralegal, case manager or other sales rep. Demand to speak to the lawyer who will be handling your case. If the lawyer doesn’t have time to talk to you before you pay him, he won’t have time to talk to you after you pay him.
If this is a second or multiple offense DUI, there could be even more serious punishments like jail time or longer license suspension. If you have been arrested for a felony or a fourth offense DUI, you could even face prison time. DUI convictions are priorable for ten years. If you have a prior felony in the last ten years, ANY subsequent DUI is a felony as well.
If you or someone close to you has a commercial driver’s license and has been arrested for DUI, call a lawyer who has spent two decades getting good results for his clients. Call for a free consultation:
